With All Our Might is a juried exhibition for visual artists at the Carr Center Contemporary. The exhibition includes 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and time-based works that are a direct response to the experience of life during the global pandemic. 2020 was a year of chaos–immeasurable loss, struggle, racism and inequality revealed, and our damaging social and political climate.
Curated by Erin Falker -Obichigha and Carl Wilson, the Carr Center asks, What did you create out of the Chaos?
Multidisciplinary artists from Detroit and around the country will be featured in this exhibition, including, Taurus Burns, Cydney Camp, Danielle Gumbin, Brandon Sward, Ashley Parker Owens, Ann Smith, Diamante Lavendar, Desiree Kelly, Mario Loprete, Ian Matchett, Nelly Kate Anderson, Elizabeth Shoby and Qrcky Art.
With All Our Might will open March 31, 2021 at the Carr Center Contemporary. 15 E. Kirby Street, in the heart of Detroit’s midtown cultural district. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday Noon – 5pm.
