Noel Night Children’s Crafts @ The NEW Carr Center Contemporary Gallery
1pm – 7pm … Discover the New Carr Center Gallery @ the Park Shelton, 15 E. Kirby Street where will showcase modern Christmas traditions from West African countries as well as provide an opportunity for people to share their holiday spirit and decorate ornaments for a community wish tree. The gallery will serve a traditional West African hot chocolate and engage African drummers and dancers from the Detroit community. Tours of our inaugural exhibition, Beyond Space, will also be given throughout the day.
