the Carr Center Presents …The Gathering Orchestra in concert , under the direction of Carr Center Resident Artist Rodney Whitaker @ Detroit   School of Arts

This concert will introduce the Carr Center’s 2019 – 2021 Geri Allen Fellows, The Gathering Orchestra.This individually selected group of early career professional musicians begins their two year fellowship with a one week Detroit in-school residency that culminates with their first public performance, a hot evening of big band standards under the musical direction of Rodney Whitaker.
