Coming to the Carr Center Gallery June 1 – June 25 Winners of the Carr Center Youth Art Competition, The Awakening Continues.
Nineteen young artists from the Metro Detroit area will have their work in this on display for this new exhibition.
Among them will be this years six competition winners:
Senior Division Winners;
1st Place : REAGAN LEWIS, NEWPORT HIGH SCHOOL (tie)
WILLIAM HILL III,DETROIT SCHOOL OF ARTS (tie)
2nd Place: KAELIN BEHLMER, CRANBROOK KINGWOOD
3rd Place: JANAE BRYSON, GROVES HIGH SCHOOL
Junior Division Winners:
1st Place: RAEKA MARTINEZ, L’ANSE CREUSE MIDDLE, CENTRAL
2nd Place KALIQ RKOBINSON, BIRNEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
3rd Place ARIEL ZHANG, HARKER MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Carr Center Gallery is located at 15 E. Kirby Street in Detroit. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Saturday NOON – 5:00pm. Mask wearing and social distancing is required when visiting the gallery
