2nd Annual Young Artists Competition – The Awakening Continues …
This competition is NOW OPEN to students in grades 6th – 12th throughout the Metro Detroit area. Submissions can be entered in the following disciplines:
- Visual Arts
- Literary Arts
- Music/original compositionDance/original choreography
There are 2 divisions: Junior: 6-8th grade and Senior 9-12th grade.
Students from each division will receive cash awards for the top 3 submissions.
- 1st Place: $500.00
- 2nd Place: $250.00
- 3rd Place: $100.00
ALL Winners and Honorable Mention awardees will have their work featured in a special student exhibition inside the Carr Center Gallery, 15 E. Kirby Street in the late Spring.
Submission timelines:
All work must be submitted through the Submittables website
Submissions open: March 28, 2022
Submissions close: April 15, 2022
Final decisions will be announced: April 29, 2022
