Join us on June 4th at 5 PM EST, for a dialogue with two of the exhibiting artists of the current exhibition in the Carr Virtual Center, The In Between. Mariam Ezzat and Tony Rave will share their ideas of space and making with regards to their studios and the overall condition of their creative practice during a pandemic.
This three person conversation between local artists Mariam Ezzat and Tony Rave, and the curator of the exhibition, Chelsea A. Flowers will be a gateway to the exhibition. Participants will view and learn about the works of the local artists, navigate and engage with the Carr Center’s Virtual Gallery, listen to and ask questions of the two featured artists during the talk and gain a deeper understanding of the two artists’ methods of making during COVID-19 and their relation to care and their studio transformations.
